Meet Our Founder
Our founder, Alex Foster, established Jazz Meets Motown.com five years ago. He has had the privilege of knowing some of the greats: William C. Handy founder of the blues, Slim Gaillard, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Cab Calloway, Lionel Hampton, Charlie Parker, Art Blakey, Tommy Flannigan, Major Holley, Kenny Burrell, Willie Bobo and Mongo Santamaria. His passion for the music has led to the success of Jazz Meets Motown.com and has given great musicians a chance to showcase their talents and to network with their peers. Catch our live Monday Night Jam Sessions at the Party Room of Hokkaido Chinese and Japanese Buffet Restaurant 5737 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy US 192 Kissimmee, Florida 34747, fifteen minutes from Disney. Great cuisine, unbelievable prices, 100 dishes, sushi and hibachi for $12.99 per person.
